Before moving to Leiden, I worked as post-doctoral research fellow at the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) Munich and the Technical University (TU) Munich. I received her Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Free University (FU) in Berlin and my masters degree in political science from the Free University (VU) Amsterdam. Before that I studied business administration at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and at the Hotel Management School in Maastricht.
